Dr. Tao Xia received his Ph.D. from the University of Hong Kong (HKU), where he studied sleep-based memory modulation and targeted memory reactivation (TMR). He is now a Principal Investigator at the Institute of Psychology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research lies at the intersection of sleep neuroscience, emotional memory, and brain-computer interfaces, with the goal of developing non-invasive tools to reshape memory and improve mental health.
